What are Action Verbs? Grammar Review
Action verbs express a “Physical or mental action”. Action verbs are also referred to as “Dynamic verbs”. An action verb helps explain what someone or something is doing. Can you see something moving? Can you sense an activity? If you can see someone or something moving, it is an action. Why is this important? In English there are many rules and exceptions.
